Very cute and modern cafe. They bake fresh bread and can get sold out fast. Definitely, try the shokupan bread. It's very fluffy and small so not too big for one person.

A simple cafe with homemade, fluffy bread & and few snacks. The menu is minimalist; do not go here if you want to eat a full meal. The corned beef sandwich was good, but had small portions of beef. The drinks (we ordered the caramel latte, matcha latte, & a roasted green tea latte (all pictured), were very well made. Very close to the yasaka shrine. Sit upstairs at the window - you’ll observe locals & tourists taking photos in kimonos on the adjacent street.

A charming cafe. You remove your shoes and go upstairs to the dining area. We ordered the matcha and white bread combo with the egg salad and a kind of pink jam. The bread was amazingly tasty; soft, pillowy, and warm. The toppings were equally amazing. My friend who tried the corned beef sandwich said the toasted bread was well done and the filling decent, although she was unable to taste the Sichuan peppers in it. The roasted green tea latte, Sakura matcha latte, and matcha latte were all very good. Regarding the Sakura matcha latte: order it if you are fond of a sour/salty and sweet combination of flavours. I loved this latte, but my friends tried it and said it wasn't their thing, so it's not for everyone. The service was prompt and friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy and calm.

During our stay in Kyoto we stopped by here twice because the atmosphere, coffee, and food was wonderful. The burnt caramel latte was flavorful, not too sweet and the coffee itself was delicious. The bread was fresh and fluffy along with its sides, and the soup was also delicious. The views of the street are pretty from the second floor as well!

Best tea house in the area: very friendly staff, superb food and drinks, and excellent atmosphere! This is a place you can't miss in Kyoto! My advice would be coming early in the morning, like 9am, and you can enjoy the quietness of the place, and the limited bread set as well

This cute cafe is pristine inside with wonderful atmosphere. The drinks were well crafted and worth the price. They have a great bread special that’s limited, so I suggest anyone to arrive early in the day. I fell in love with the corned beef sandwich, which is so unique among all foods I’ve eaten in Japan. A must try.
